Networking for QA Professionals
Someone once said that it's not WHAT you know that is important, but WHO you know. As a follow-up to our January meeting which was a lively "round-table" discussion on using social media and marketing yourself for finding employment opportunities, our February meeting topic will be NETWORKING. Please join us to learn innovative and unique ways of expanding the circle of people that you know.
Fred Walker will be conducting a presentation on the importance of face-to-face networking. Fred will be sharing his personal experiences and key lessons learned in identifying networking opportunities, developing a networking plan and building a network.
During his career, Fred Walker has worked as a project manager and consultant. He has worked for major consulting firms as well as in the financial services industry. Fred holds an M.B.A. and Master of Arts degree in Economics from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
