Summary
Many defects only occur when a combination of inputs or events interact with each other. However, if you were to test every combination of inputs it may take years, especially with today’s complex systems. How do you choose which input combinations to test? Pairwise testing.

Pairwise testing – or all-pairs testing – is a combinatorial software testing technique for reducing the number of test cases without drastically compromising functional coverage, helping to get more "bang for the buck."

Philip Lew explains the nuts and bolts of pairwise testing and discusses how to incorporate the testing method into your test design and planning. Learn about helpful tools as Phil examines when and when not to use pairwise testing, as well as some of its advantages and limitations. Click here for the Speaker Bio
